Christia Spears Brown, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of developmental and social psychology at the University of Kentucky. Her research examines stereotype development among children and adolescents, and the consequences of belonging to stereotyped social groups. She studies stereotypes on the basis on gender, ethnicity, and immigration status.
