19 more adaptive learning quizzes for students
Posted September 19, 2016
We've added 19 more self-study quizzes for students to the Noba website. These quiz items are coordinated with, though not the same as, the Noba test bank items available only to verified instructors. Students can find the quizzes directly after the main content of the online learning modules and can return to them as often as they like for review. Review sessions will emphasize items that individual learners have missed in previous sessions.
The quizzes can be found in these modules-
- Introduction to the Science of Social Psychology
- Research Methods in Social Psychology
- Statistical Thinking
- Social Neuroscience
- Theory of Mind
- The Psychology of Groups
- The Family
- Culture
- Social Comparison
- Functions of Emotions
- Aggression and Violence
- Helping and Pro-social Behavior
- Cooperation
- Attraction and Beauty
- Positive Relationships
- Love, Friendship, and Social Support
- Attachment Through the Life Course
- Relationships and Well-being
- Industrial/Organizational Psychology
The quizzes make use of the Cerego learning platform. Cerego is an adaptive learning technology that uses distributed practice as the basis for memory retention. See more about Cerego by visiting their website and in the video below.
We expect to add 16 more student quizzes by October 2016. We'll be offering instructor-tracking of student quizzes by October as well.
